This memo describes an updated technique for incremental
computation of the standard Internet checksum.  It updates the
method described in RFC 1141.

This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
this memo is unlimited.

This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
